O'CONNELL CRICKET CLUB

Nestled on the banks of the Fish River, just 3 hours from Sydney in the Central West of NSW, the O'Connell Cricket Club plays a brand of cricket that embodies everything the spirit of cricket stands for - with a little bit of country competitiveness thrown in.

With a small town of approximately 700 people, O'Connell fields an exceptionally competitive side, taking on teams from surrounding towns and touring sides.

The biggest match of the year, which some have described as NSW Country's version of 'The Ashes' is played against our nearest neighbouring town of Tarana for the ultimate prize of the 'Fish River Cup'.
